ThinkSmart Extends Wesfarmers’ Officeworks Contract To 2013

ThinkSmart Limited (ASX:TSM), a leading international computer and office equipment financing company, said today it has signed a contract extension with office products retailer Officeworks, a subsidiary of Wesfarmers Limited, extending the existing 13 year relationship until mid 2013.

Announcing the extension, ThinkSmart Executive Chairman and CEO Mr Ned Montarello said: “We are very pleased to continue our long term partnership with Officeworks and to be supplying our market leading consumer and small business rental finance products to their customers”.

“Our system automation and online presence sees approximately 50% of our Officeworks rental transactions initiated online with the customer contract and equipment fulfilment completed in store”.

“This capability, combined with our previously announced aim to bring e-signature technology and paperless processing capability to the Australian electrical in-store and online retailing marketplace, means we are well placed for continued growth with our retail partners, including Officeworks”.
