ThinkSmart Signs Agreement With Leading Italian Retailer

 – Expands distribution footprint in Italian market

– Continues to position Italian business for growth on market recovery

ThinkSmart Limited (ASX:TSM), a leading international computer and office equipment financing company, has positioned its Italian operations for growth by signing a distribution agreement with the leading computer retailer, Computer Discount.

Computer Discount has over 200 stores throughout Italy, and is part of the Borsa Italiana listed CDC Point SpA group, a producer and distributor of information technology products.

The two year Computer Discount agreement bolsters ThinkSmart’s Italian operations, where it already has distribution capability through the leading retailer UniEuro, part of the DSG International Group and funding arrangements with Santander Consumer Bank SpA.

“Our focus in Europe is to expand our relationships with market leading retailers to position our business for future growth on the European retail recovery,” said ThinkSmart’s Executive Chairman and CEO, Ned Montarello.

“Computer Discount has a strong reputation in computer retailing, especially at the business to business end, and our agreement will significantly increase our footprint across Italy.”

ThinkSmart fills the gap for small business customers between a credit card and bank loan, enabling them to get on-the-spot approval for technology they need via a tax and cash flow friendly operating lease and other benefits.
